Mr. Tuna
Mr. Tuna gained a cult following in short order after launching as Maine’s first-ever mobile sushi cart. From its humble beginnings in 2017, Mr. Tuna has grown to include a fleet of mobile food trailers, a stationary location inside the Portland Public Market, and a catering division for special events. As owners Jordan Rubin and Marisa have expanded their business, so too have they grown their social responsibility footprint.
Always with an eye toward food security for their neighbors in need, Mr. Tuna is passionate about giving back to their community in any way they can. Their inspiration for joining the FEED KIDS movement is rooted in the personal struggle with hunger that, at some point in their lives, every one of their team members has either experienced or witnessed. In partnering with Full Plates Full Potential, they’re excited to do their part in ending child hunger in Maine.
